In 1997, Todd Coonrad set out to make a better hammer. We hope you’ll agree that he’s succeeded. As a carpenter, Todd preferred wood handled hammers over steel or plastic, but he didn’t like frequently replacing handles due to wear and breakage. Who does? As a designer, he sought to fix the problem and add maximum utility. The DDT16 titanium hammer is a result of his efforts. The unique integration of the titanium head and handle provides over-strike protection for a stronger, longer-lasting hammer.
